Sikkimgardens Home
The Pradhans in the Sikkim Himalayas welcome you to the fantastic world of plants and plant people.
The garden is the  vision of Keshab and Shanti, a husband and wife team well known in the world of Orchids and Rhododendrons. Starting in 1978, they converted  two hectares of paddy field into a flower wonderland and after three decades of perseverance, the project has  evolved into a naturalist's paradise.
In these efforts, they are supported by their youngest son Sailesh, their   daughter in-law Chungku, and a grandson Raghav. Their elder son Kailash,  a practicing architect, has also contributed to the layout of the gardens and the design of the buildings on site.
